Jared and I decided to do something fun this last weekend. We got tickets to see the Seattle Mariners battle out the last game of the weekend against the New York Yankees. We were lucky to see them beat the Yankee's 10-4 after loosing the last three games. GO MARINERS! However, Griffey wasn't playing so hot but Gutierrez and Lopez were playing great!

After the game we settled down at Hotel 1000. A newer modern hotel on First Ave. Super chic place to lay your head at night. Of course the traditional trip to Benihanna's was a must and good thing we did. We sat next to Jose Lopez while he ate with his family after a great game!

We walked the water front for a while after dinner and relaxed in the nice Seattle weather. It was great to get away. But of course all things come to an end and we had to head home the next morning. More weekend getaways our in our future. It's nice to get away for a short time. It's also nice to come home too.
