Let's hope for the right foot...or well I guess literally the left!

Tomorrow, is the day. I am finally having surgery on my foot. After two years, it still hasn't healed nor has it done anything else but be bothersome. So one of the sesamoid bones that is fractured in my left foot will be removed. This weekend after a great day we saw that a doctor was getting sued for operating on the opposite limb. HA! Of course now I have what might be a normal paranoia of the doctor operating on the wrong foot...my right foot. I was thinking maybe I will wear socks, green for "GO" and red for "NO!". Then of course I would also write a note of, "you touch this foot and your dead". I'm sure most people would get a kick out of this but quite frankly...I am NOT kidding. Everyone has to have a little humor when it comes to having some type of surgery. I guess it goes with being relaxed. I still don't understand it. I am not relaxed about it. Not freaked...just not relaxed.

GOOD NEWS FINALLY!

The doctor I have been seeing in Spokane, WA, called me on Friday afternoon to tell me some great news. My tumor that has been causing all sorts of nuisance has shrunk and the bleeding that was going on due to that has ceased. This is great news. With three to four months more of hard core medication I might finally get to a normal and healthy state. This would be very exciting since this has been going on for nearly two years now. I feel positive that by the end of the summer I will no longer have a brain tumor! YAH!

SO????

I don't know what the deal is with the last few blogs but unfortunately I have started them with "SO". I don't know where that has been coming from. Huh?

Frustrated!

So I got my head gaskets replaced by McCurley Integrity Subaru for $1,800. Fine and Dandy. Head gaskets shouldn't go out at 68K miles. So I am a little frustrated. I am the person that does all maintenance to their car when needed and I take care of my car so it will last. Well, I am mad that due to having the coolant flushed at another place....Firestone......it was done incorrectly not adding the special conditioner to the antifreeze in order not to have the head gasket problem. Firestone said they would take care of it (pay me back for McCurley to fix) but now they are needing all this proof that really doesn't happen, i.e. Lab Results for coolant testing. They have print outs that say specifically that if the conditioner does not get put in with the antifreeze that it corrodes and makes the head gaskets rub...causing them to leak oil into the cooling system. Which in my case happened and had to have the head gaskets replaced. Oh this is soooooo ridiculous. Obviously they know they are in the wrong but are being absolutely idiotic. UGH! So that is my fun fact for the day.

Finally some vacation time...

So, I am finally getting to take some vacation time. More or less so it doesn't pass and not get used before it expires. This month is going to be busy. I am going to finally paint my living room! YEAH! I have been saying this for so long now and Jared laughs every time I bring it up. BUT FOR REAL! I AM GONNA GET IT DONE! I have to get it done by May 28th. I am finally getting my broken sesamoid bone removed (in my foot) and the tendon reattaced to the other side of the bone. Sounds like a lot of pain. Maybe that's why I have been putting it off for so long. I have also had a chance to see a new doctor in Spokane. I never knew they could take so much blood at one time! WOW. Eleven viles of blood later and they were done. For that day. I am going back to Spokane this week to have them do some more blood work and hopefully we will start getting some answers. It's so tiring going from doctor to doctor and never get any real answers. My body is so tired and worn out. I just want to be better. Jared wants me to be better, get back to being healthy. Jared keeps telling people I'm broken and that he keeps asking my mom for his money back. He makes me laugh. If he only knew if parents paid me to take him off their hands. Ha ha.
